Job Title: Security Services Sales Specialist

LAN-TEL Communications launched its Security Division in 2005 and since that time has successively grown the business year over year. LAN-TEL’s Security Division specializes in the design, installation and ongoing service of the latest in access control and video surveillance systems for business customers in both the private and public sector.

The Security Services Sales Specialist will play an integral part in the continued growth of the Security Division and will report to its Director.

Key Responsibilities of the Position Include:

• Identifying new business prospects
• Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Ongoing account management to increase recurring revenue
• Articulating and communicating the value, products and services offered by LAN-TEL
• Developing winning sales proposals
• Collaborating with marketing to introduce winning campaigns
• Working closely with sales engineers and project managers
• Review and modify sales contracts as required to protect LAN-TEL’s interests
• Building and maintaining a sales funnel
• Meeting quarterly sales and profitability quota

Key Requirements of the Position Include:

• Proven sales success in the security industry
• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in security sales
• Ability to perform informational security risk assessments
• Working and in-depth knowledge of the security industry and the latest in access control and video surveillance technology
• Working knowledge of security-related computer networking products and issues
• Proficient in all Microsoft software
• Proven experience in successfully managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the LAN-TEL team

Pay and Benefits:
