Job Title: Structured Cabling Sales Specialist
LAN-TEL Communications was incorporated in 1992 and since that time has successfully grown its business to become one of the premier cabling and security companies in New England. LAN-TEL provides the design, installation and ongoing maintenance of structured cabling systems that support voice, data, audio visual, wireless and security applications for both the public and private sectors.
LAN-TEL is currently seeking a sales specialist to assist in further growing and expanding its structured cabling business.
Key Responsibilities of the Position Include:
- Identifying new business prospects
- Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Ongoing account management to increase recurring revenue
- Articulating and communicating the value, products and services offered by LAN-TEL
- Developing winning sales proposals
- Collaborating with marketing to introduce winning campaigns
- Working closely with sales engineers and project managers
- Reviewing and modifying sales contracts as required to protect LAN-TEL's interests
- Building and maintaining a sales funnel
- Meeting a quarterly sales and profitability quota
Key Requirements of the Position Include:
- Proven sales success in the cabling or electrical industry
- Minimum of 5 year's experience in sales
- Proficient in all Microsoft software
- Proven experience in successfully managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the LAN-TEL team
Pay and Benefits:
This position will include a base salary plus a generous commission plan. In addition, LAN-TEL offers an extremely competitive compensation package that includes the following:
